I am a knight with no liege,
A knight with no purpose,
No kingdom to defend,
No love to protect.
I bear my arms,
My shield held high,
All is for naught,
For I have no coat.
I fight for justice,
Where justice is needed,
Never welcomed,
Never home.
My sword has no cause,
‘Cept those of mine own,
My armour has no loyalty,
‘Cept to it’s own black abyss.
I walk alone,
To find my purpose,
To find my cause,
My loyalty and fealty I wish to give.
Who would have me?
A knight with no bearings,
Who would want me?
One who is lost.
Who would trust me?
One who has never sworn fealty to lord or lady,
Who would have my love and loyalty?
When it’s intensity sets the world aflame.
